An Espresso is a coffee made with an Espresso machine that extracts coffee at a high temperature and high pressure state. The traditional standard is to extract 30 ml of coffee within 30 seconds. The following attributes will alter these standards.
- Coffee weight
- Coffee grind size
- Tamping pressure
- Ambient humidity
- Ambient temperature
- Coffee machine temperature and pressure
Any variance on these attributes and your cup of coffee will have a different taste.
